This years Fragrance Foundation Recognition Awards turned out to be a star-studded event with celebrities like Usher, Kim Kardashian, Randy Jackson, Saffron Burrows, Tinsley Mortimer, Sofia Vergara and many more. But this celebration is not about the celebs here; it’s about the scents, the aroma, the fragrance, and the oohlala! 
Created by the Fragrance Foundation, this award ceremony honors the best of the best in the fragrance world.
Held in New York City at the historic 69th Regiment Armory with some 800 attendees, the categories reflect the growing diversification and expansion of the fragrance industry. Over 15 years ago, President Emeritus of The Fragrance Foundation, Annette Green, conceived the idea of recognizing those in the fragrance industry for their creative achievements. She never imagined that The Fragrance Foundation Recognition Awards would become symbols of excellence around the world.
There were over 20 awards given and Calvin Klein’s CK One won for “Hall of Fame Fragrance”. Other awards went to Antonio Banderas’ for “Seduction in Black”, Halle by Halle Berry took home “Women’s Popular Appeal”, and Usher by multiplatinum recording artist Usher Raymond was chosen for “Male Fragrance Celebrity of the Year”. The Fragrance Foundation was established in 1949 by six industry leaders affiliated with Elizabeth Arden, Coty, Guerlain, Helena Rubenstein, Chanel and Parfums Weil, to develop educational programs about the importance and pleasures of fragrance for the American public.
